Although the 1. structure is small and famous

When the vehicle is braking, the universal joint end of the thrust rod (axle) and the wheels decelerate or stop together, but due to inertia, the frame still moves forward. If there is no thrust rod, the axle will be longitudinally offset, and the thrust rod prevents the axle from moving.

When the vehicle is running, the universal joint end of the driving wheel thrust rod, that is, the axle and the wheels, push the frame together. At this time, the thrust rod transmits the thrust of the axle to the body, so that the axle and the frame move synchronously.

In addition, the V-shaped thrust rod also has a lateral stabilizing effect on the axle, which can prevent the axle from moving in the left and right directions. When the axle moves left and right, the triangular stable structure of the V-shaped thrust rod can prevent the axle from shifting and ensure the smoothness of the vehicle.

(1) Straight thrust rod has simple structure

The structure of the straight thrust rod is relatively simple and the force is relatively concentrated, but it can mainly prevent the front and rear displacement of the middle and rear axles. It has a small effect on the left and right displacement of the axle. However, due to its simple structure, the requirements for key connection parts are not high.

 

Since the straight thrust rod only solves the problem that the axle does not shift back and forth, if the steering is too small, especially in the case of heavy load, the axle misalignment will be very severe, and the loss of the tie rod and the rubber sleeve will be very large. Compared with road vehicles, the straight thrust rod is more suitable for complex pavement in mining areas, and its durability is also higher.

(2)V-type thrust rod force balance assembly accuracy requirements are high

The V-shaped thrust rod assembly device is usually installed on the middle and rear axles of the load-carrying truck and used in pairs. When the truck is overloaded, the V-shaped thrust rod can effectively distribute the impact load to the longitudinal beams on both sides of the vehicle body in a balanced manner, reducing the impact on the axle housing and the chassis.

 

However, compared with the straight thrust rod, the V-type thrust rod requires high assembly accuracy. At the same time, due to the harsh working conditions of the truck, if the V-shaped thrust rod is not well sealed, mud and sand will easily enter the upper ball seat, which will accelerate the wear of the joint bearing assembly, resulting in a decrease in the performance of the entire assembly and a greatly reduced service life.
